The Chamber of Commerce of Wildside rides to the rescue of a dance troupe terrorized by Grosset. Before they can bring Grosset to trial, Sgt. Museliner appears with extradition papers from Oregon. When the prison wagon carrying Grosset to Oregon is ambushed, the Governor tells the Wildside Five he believes a corrupt judge signed the extradition papers. The man behind the ambush is Grosset’s brother Rileback who has vowed revenge against Brodie for shooting off his trigger finger before he could be recognized as a greater gunfighter than Brodie. Rileback now uses a machine pistol which can cut thru steel bars. He’s freed Grosset to set a trap for Brodie. Cally, trying to get a story, follows The Five on their hunt for Rileback. Trying to save her, the men are trapped under the debris of an exploded building. Brodie is taken prisoner so that he and Rileback can replay their last gunfight. The title to this episode turned out to be prophetic as the fat lady did sing and it was over. This was the last episode of Wildside.
