In the late 1950's and through-out the 1960's Bill was featured in a number of body building magazines which usually highlighted his Hollywood connection.

Bill was on the cover of the June 1968 issue of Muscle Builder/Power
He's credited as "Star of TV's Laredo -- muscleman Bill Smith"
